What Happens in a Class?


Here's what a typical adult kickboxing session at PMA Holyhead looks like:


Warm-Up — Dynamic movement and drills to get the blood pumping and prepare your body for training.


Technique Work — Your instructor breaks down combinations, footwork, and defensive techniques. You practise these with a partner, focusing on precision before power.


Pad Work — One of the most satisfying parts of any kickboxing class. You work in pairs — one person on the pads, one striking — building timing, power, and flow.


Conditioning & Cool Down — A final push followed by a proper cool down and stretch to keep you moving well between sessions.


Classes are energetic but controlled. You'll be pushed, but never beyond what's right for you.
